Ok so lets get serious here.
How many devices do you have?
* A phone
* A work computer
* A home computer
* A laptop
* An android tablet
* An iPad
?? Shall I go on?
In the spirit of honesty, I used to have stuff dispersed willy nilly all over these machines. Some bookmarks on my home laptop, some on my phone, some on my work computer. Some important screenshots on my ipad and some at work. Some ‘notes to self’ hastily typed at work, only for me to try and wrack my brain when I get home to remember what it was all about. Some important emails filed, yet I can’t for the life of me find them when I need them. (Well, ok, I can, but I’ve had some instances where I couldn’t and that KILLED me!)
Along came Evernote.
I didn’t jump on the bandwagon when it first came out. I’m a kinda anti bandwagon type of girl. But then, being me, who can resist the lure of an application that helps you get organised? Given I’d marry organisation if I wasn’t already married, well the answer is ‘me’.
My life has not been the same since.
I’m pretty sure I used that exact same statement when I told you about unroll.me and inbox zero, but oh well, it’s TRUE!
I’m typing this post right now on my ipad during my daily commute. (Did I mention I commute 4 hours a day!) when I get home, this will be waiting for me, already sitting on my home computers Evernote. Even if I don’t finish it and I have a gap at work, it’ll be there too.
Evernote allows you to have all your notes with you, all the time.
I wrote a love letter to Evernote. Hahaha. (Yep, I’m crazy, but I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be here if you wanted to hear about efficiency, organisation and productivity from a guy in a pressed pinstripe suit!). Ok, going back to my love. Feel free to sign up for my FREE Evernote training. It’s out now! It’s a 10 part, easy to follow, video ecourse. Love to have you join me!
Until next time.
